Rosebene - Rosebene (CD)

First started in 2018 most of the recordings took place in various homemade studios around Paris featuring an array of musicians lending their hands to the project. This record is about loosing your true love to fake romance and falling in love at first glance. Rosebene self titled debut takes its melancholy from the Blue Nile cult classic Hats and their bluesy riffs laced by synth arpeggios sometimes emulates the grittiness of the first shoegaze records, think MBV and Ride. But there is also influences from Hip Hop’s greats (Madvillain of course Paul’s Boutique also) and R’n’B’s legends (From Sade to Aaliyah not forgetting Blood Orange) in the mix. Just sit back and enjoy all this good people working together. ⸜(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)⸝ (OGREC034) CD with cardboard sleeve.
